Description
CPVC pipe to SDR 11, rated for continuous hot water service at 93 °C, which is what separates it from ordinary uPVC. Joined with solvent cement — a chemical weld, not a glue, and it needs the specified cure time before pressure testing regardless of what the site programme says. Lighter and far quicker to install than copper, and immune to the pinhole corrosion that affects copper in aggressive water.
