Description
An electromagnetic flow meter measures flow by the voltage a conductive liquid induces as it passes through a magnetic field. Because the bore is unobstructed there are no moving parts to wear, no pressure drop, and no sensitivity to viscosity — which is why magmeters displaced mechanical meters on water, effluent and slurry duty. PTFE liner with hastelloy electrodes, accuracy 0.3% of reading. Requires a minimum conductivity of 5 µS/cm, so it will not read demineralised water.
